Iura ("we", "us", "our") operates iuratech.com, an AI-powered legal research platform for law firms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address, password (encrypted), and firm name.

Research data: We store the legal research queries you submit and the results generated, to provide your research history.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as number of searches performed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Iura service
• Process your subscription and payments
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• Improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns
• Respond to support requests

4. Your Research Data and Confidentiality

We understand that legal matters are sensitive. Your research queries and results are stored solely to provide you with research history within the platform. We do not sell, share, or use your client matter data for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

We do not use your research queries to train AI models.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Anthropic — AI research generation (your queries are processed but not stored or used for training by Anthropic per their API terms)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• Resend — transactional email delivery

We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and research data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. Contact us at hello@iuratech.com to request deletion.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@iuratech.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
